Hello, welcome to the Skyline Yorkies website.
Yorkies are the love of my life, they fill a place in my heart right after my family.
My name is Beate ("Bea"). I was born in St.Ingbert,
Germany, where I met my husband David in 1988.
He was stationed in Zweibruecken (in the Army), and after we got married in 1989 we moved to the USA.
We now have three daughters and live right outside Front Royal, Virginia, where the beautiful Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Mountains begin.
We live in a Country setting with 4acres for our dogs to run and play.
I had wanted to own a Yorkie all my life, but my husband David’s mind had to be changed first. He didn’t like the idea of all that fur shedding. So, after we checked into the breed and found out that Yorkies have hair and don’t shed, our first Yorkie moved in.
We have come a long way since then. Now we share our home with six of these precious little dogs (and a Mountain Feist named "Crickett", who thinks she is a Yorkie too).
We started our small breeding program in 1996. We try to better our breeding line and strive to breed healthy, temperamentally sound, well socialized dogs. Our pups are born inside, raised under foot, where they stay until their ready to live with their new families.
They are exposed to all different kinds of people and situations, so their ready when its time to leave our home and live with their new families .
I think it is safe to say that our dogs and puppies are well taken care of by our family Veterinarian and ourselves. All our dogs and puppies are AKC registered.
We have just a few litters a year and if you're interested in purchasing one of our little angels, please feel free to contact us to check for availability or to be put on our waiting list.
